The short version
What performance marketing actually means
Performance marketing is paid advertising where every rupee is tied to a measurable outcome: a lead, a sale, a booking or a call.
At ScalEasy that covers five things:
- Deciding who to target and on which platform
- Making the creative
- Buying and managing media across Google, Meta, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Setting up tracking that connects a click to real revenue
- Reporting on what actually worked
The difference from general digital marketing is what you get judged on. Brand campaigns are measured on reach and impressions. Performance campaigns are measured on cost per acquisition and return on ad spend. If your current agency cannot tell you your ROAS without going away to check, you are not running performance marketing. You are running ads.
Where the money leaks
Spending the budget is easy. Knowing what it bought is the hard part.
The report arrives on the fifth of every month. Impressions up. Click-through rate up. Cost per click down. Everything is green. Then you ask how many sales came out of it and the answer takes three days and a spreadsheet, and even then nobody is sure.
Usually there are three things going wrong underneath:
- Tracking was set up once and never checked, so half your conversions are counted twice and the offline ones are not counted at all
- Creative and media sit in different teams, so when performance drops each one points at the other
- The same three ads have been running since March, which is why your cost per lead has been climbing every month since April
The last one is the expensive one. Most accounts do not fail because the targeting is wrong. They fail because the creative got tired and nobody was making new work fast enough to replace it.
Cost per lead doubled while creative output sat at zero. Nothing changed in the targeting. The same three assets ran for five months.
| Month | Cost per lead | New creative assets produced |
|---|---|---|
| Mar | ₹180 | 3 |
| Apr | ₹195 | 0 |
| May | ₹240 | 0 |
| Jun | ₹280 | 0 |
| Jul | ₹320 | 0 |
| Aug | ₹360 | 1 |
What’s included
Creative and media, one team, one number
Most agencies split creative and media into separate departments and the work falls into the gap between them. We do not. The same team writes the strategy, makes the ads, buys the media and sits in the review when the numbers are bad.
Campaign strategy
Who we are trying to reach, what will actually move them, which platform they are on, and what a lead or a sale needs to cost for the maths to work for your business.
Creative
Static, video and copy built for each placement rather than one asset resized six ways. We plan for creative fatigue from the start, because it is coming.
Media buying
Daily management across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube and Display. Budgets move between campaigns based on what is working this week, not what worked last quarter.
Landing pages and conversion
Traffic is only half of it. We fix or build the page the ad lands on, because doubling the conversion rate is usually cheaper than doubling the budget.
Tracking and attribution
Conversion tracking, GA4, server-side events, offline conversion uploads and CRM integration, so a lead that closes three weeks later still gets credited to the campaign that brought it in.
Reporting
A monthly report in plain language and a live dashboard you can open any day of the month. Cost per lead, cost per sale and ROAS at the top, not buried on page four.
Choosing a channel
Which platform is right for your business
| Google Search Ads | Meta Ads | LinkedIn Ads | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Existing demand, people already searching | Creating demand, D2C and local services | B2B and high-value services |
| Buyer intent | High | Low to medium | Medium |
| Minimum monthly spend | ₹40,000 | ₹30,000 | ₹80,000 |
| Time to reliable data | 2 to 4 weeks | 3 to 6 weeks | 6 to 8 weeks |
| Creative load | Low, mostly copy | High, needs constant new work | Medium |
| Use it when | People already know they need what you sell | You need to build the want first | You are selling to a job title, not a person |
Platforms
Seven places we spend your money, and why
Google Ads
Catching people at the exact moment they are looking for what you sell. The most reliable channel for turning existing demand into leads and sales, and usually where we start.
Meta Ads
Facebook and Instagram together. Precise audience targeting paired with creative built to stop the scroll. This is where demand gets created rather than captured.
Instagram Ads
Feed, Stories and Reels. Visual-first placements that work well for D2C, hospitality and anything people buy with their eyes before their calculator.
LinkedIn Ads
Reaching decision makers by job title, company size and seniority. Expensive per click and worth it when one closed deal is worth six figures.
Display and Remarketing
Staying in front of people who visited and left without buying. The cheapest conversions in most accounts come from here.
Google Shopping
Product listings in front of people ready to buy. For e-commerce brands this often outperforms search text ads on both volume and cost.
YouTube Ads
Video that builds awareness at the top of the funnel and supports conversion further down. Underused in India relative to how cheap the attention still is.
Who we run campaigns for
Industries where we already know what the numbers should look like
Meta and Google Shopping led, with the return-to-origin problem factored into the maths. A 4x ROAS means nothing if a third of the orders come back. We build campaigns around delivered revenue, not booked revenue.
Direct booking campaigns that pull demand away from the OTAs you are paying twenty percent to. Seasonal budget planning, because a resort in October and a resort in February are two different businesses.
Local search and Meta campaigns built around treatments people actually search for, with call tracking, because most of these leads pick up the phone rather than fill a form.
Google Search and LinkedIn, with CRM integration so a lead that closes four months later still shows up against the campaign that generated it.
Local Service Ads, Google Business Profile and tightly geofenced campaigns. Small budgets managed properly rather than large budgets managed loosely.
Why work with us
We are accountable for the number, not the dashboard
We build the pages we send traffic to
Most ad agencies hand you a report and blame your website. We build websites too, so when the landing page is the problem we fix it instead of writing it up as a recommendation.
Creative and media are the same team
When cost per lead climbs, new creative is usually the answer, and it ships in days rather than going into a queue with another department.
You own everything
The Google Ads account, the Meta Business Manager, the pixel data, the creative files. All of it stays in your name. If you leave, you leave with your history intact, which is the part that actually took years to build.
A senior person runs your account
Not a fresher following a checklist. Sixteen years and 350 projects means we have already lost money learning things you do not have to pay to learn again.
Where we are
Built in Haldwani, running campaigns across India
We are based in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. For most of the last sixteen years the work ran out of Delhi NCR, and in 2024 we moved operations here and kept every client through the move.
The accounts did not notice. We still run campaigns for brands in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Dehradun, and for clients in the UK and Canada. What changed is that businesses in Haldwani, Nainital, Rudrapur and Kathgodam can now work with a team that has spent years on national accounts, without hiring an agency six hours away and hoping the calls get returned.

How we work
Four stages, and you know where you stand in each one
Audit, strategy and audience
We go through your existing accounts, find what is broken in the tracking, work out who we are trying to reach and what a lead needs to cost for your unit economics to work. You get the audit whether or not you hire us.
Creative and setup
Ad concepts, copy, static and video assets, campaign structure, conversion tracking, and the landing page if it needs work.
Launch and manage
Campaigns go live. Daily monitoring for the first fortnight while the platforms learn, then structured optimisation. Budgets move toward whatever is working.
Measure and compound
A monthly review against the numbers we agreed in week one. New creative on a fixed cadence before fatigue sets in, not after cost per lead has already climbed.
| Stage | Timing |
|---|---|
| Audit, strategy and audience | Week 1 |
| Creative and setup | Week 2 |
| Launch and manage | Weeks 3 to 8 |
| Measure and compound | From week 5, ongoing. Repeats monthly. |
Testimonials
Proof,
Not Promises.
One client account goes here: what the numbers looked like before, what changed, and three real figures. Starting cost per lead against current cost per lead converts better than a percentage.
ROAS more than doubled while scaling spend 5x. Six months with one apparel brand, indexed from the month before we took the account over.
| Month | ROAS | Ad spend index |
|---|---|---|
| Baseline | 1.7 | 100 |
| Month 1 | 2.5 | 120 |
| Month 2 | 3.0 | 180 |
| Month 3 | 3.2 | 270 |
| Month 4 | 3.5 | 337 |
| Month 5 | 3.8 | 472 |
| Month 6 | 4.0 | 519 |

ScalEasy showed up exactly when we needed them. We'd come out of some rough months with our last agency, poor communication, zero business understanding, just noise. ScalEasy is the opposite. They get how we think, they get the market, and somehow they've made working together genuinely fun.

Fit
Worth checking before you enquire
Probably a good fit if
- You are spending on ads already and cannot tell what the spend is returning
- Your cost per lead has been climbing for months and nobody can explain why
- You are ready to spend at least ₹30,000 a month on media, separate from fees
- You want the same team handling creative and media rather than coordinating two vendors
- You are willing to give it ninety days before judging it
Probably not
- You want guaranteed leads at a guaranteed price. Nobody honest can offer that.
- You want to test it for one month and decide.
- Your product has no proven demand yet. Ads amplify a working offer, they do not create one.
- You want the cheapest management fee in the market.

Investment
What performance marketing costs with us
Two numbers matter: what you pay us, and what you spend on media. The media budget goes straight to Google and Meta and never touches us.
Google or Metafrom ₹25,000 / month
and landing pagesfrom ₹75,000 / month
monthly media spend10 to 12% of spend
media budget₹30,000 / month
What moves the fee: how many platforms, how much new creative you need each month, whether landing pages are included, and how complex the tracking setup is. We quote after the audit, and the number does not change unless the scope does.
